The true power of art lies in its ability to encourage multiculturalism and diversity.

Welcome

Stellar International Art Foundation was established in 2008 and took as its basis the private collection of the Choudhrie Family.

Stellar comprises over 600 works dating from the late 19th Century to the present day, including international artists and ranges from paintings to sculptures. It distinguishes on individual talent rather than region and contains European, Russian, American and Indian art from masters including Picasso, Renoir, Husain, Warhol, Anish Kapoor and Damien Hirst.

As a collection, Stellar gives insight into the cultural viewpoint of individuals with diverse understandings of the world. Through exploration of topics such as race, poverty and sexuality the collection engenders a profound comprehension of humanity and variety of groups and people within it. Bridges are built, barriers broken down and tolerance of diverse beliefs and societies is propagated.

As Stellar has evolved, with society traditionally dictated by male dominated narratives, the diaspora of female artists with strong social relevance has become our main focus. Our driving force is to promote and support female artists as we seek to challenge, educate and encourage social reflection through conceptualising relevant topics in the art industry.

Mission

The true power of art lies in its ability to encourage multiculturalism and diversity.
It is a bridge between cultures. Stellar is passionate about exposing cultural and social issues through the medium of art, raising political and social issues and provoking questions.

Stellar International Art Foundation continues in its efforts to support artists within, outside, and consistent with the future of the Foundation.
